Very uniform, producing well-covered, deep dense curds.
Good tolerance to splitting and looseness. Very Hardy.
Matures late March to early April, later in the North. excellent flavour. Graded Quality Seed.
Growing Info Sow thinly in June into a finely raked seedbed at a depth of 13mm (½”) (Germination 7-12 days) Alternatively sow June in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at approx. 10-15°C (50-60°F) using good quality compost., sow in Modules or Small Pots. Transplant with a trowel when large enough to handle, allowing 40cm between plants each way. Apply a general fertiliser.
