The Leek Long Blanch Pendle Improved (20) Unrooted Grass
The original Peter Clark Pendle Leek selection.
Now the major blanch leek at the main shows. Winner of many top shows in the UK.
This is a vigorous blanch leek to grow, ensure that it is drawn up in the greenhouse in the early stages of growth to get the length. To achieve their ultimate size they will require grow lights.
Start the grass under lights at 65f and keep the lights on 12 hours a day right until you plant them out in a tunnel which should be around early May. Blanch leek grass is very easy to root, they root in a few days at a temperature of 18c. (65f)
