Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 Coco Perlite Mix 50L
Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 Coco Perlite Mix 50L is a premium-quality peat-free growing medium developed for professional growers and serious gardeners who demand consistent performance. Combining 70% carefully processed coco coir with 30% horticultural perlite, it creates an ideal balance of moisture retention, drainage and root-zone aeration, encouraging vigorous root development and healthy plant growth across a wide range of crops.
Unlike many standard growing media, the addition of perlite significantly improves air-filled porosity, allowing roots to access the oxygen they need while preventing waterlogging. The coco coir retains moisture evenly throughout the growing medium, reducing fluctuations in water availability and helping plants establish quickly. This combination makes Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 particularly suitable for intensive growing systems where healthy roots are essential for maximum performance.
The low EC, stable pH and consistent texture make this growing medium suitable for vegetables, herbs, bedding plants, ornamentals, cut flowers and many fruiting crops. It performs equally well in pots, grow bags, containers, raised beds and hydroponic irrigation systems, giving growers complete flexibility whether producing crops in greenhouses, polytunnels or outdoor growing areas.
Because Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 Coco Perlite Mix 50L is supplied without significant levels of fertiliser, growers have complete control over plant nutrition from the very beginning. This makes it particularly valuable for precision feeding programmes using liquid fertilisers, allowing nutrient levels to be adjusted accurately throughout every stage of plant development.
The excellent physical structure of the growing medium encourages rapid root establishment after transplanting, helping plants develop strong root systems capable of supporting vigorous top growth and increased crop production. Consistent drainage also reduces the risk of overwatering, while the moisture-holding capacity of the coco fibres helps minimise plant stress during warmer weather.
As a peat-free growing medium, Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 offers an environmentally responsible alternative to traditional peat-based composts without compromising performance. The carefully washed coco fibres provide a clean, reliable substrate that is widely trusted by commercial horticultural growers throughout the UK and Europe.
Whether you are raising seedlings, propagating cuttings, producing greenhouse crops or growing ornamental plants, Jiffy PRO7 Coco 70/30 Coco Perlite Mix 50L delivers the consistency and reliability expected from a professional-grade growing medium. Its combination of excellent drainage, moisture retention and root-zone aeration makes it an outstanding choice for both commercial production and enthusiastic home gardeners seeking professional results.
