“Caractacus” is a variety of Brussels sprout known for being a late-season crop, harvested in mid-winter (January and February), with high uniformity and excellent frost tolerance. It produces dark green, high-quality sprouts and is a robust variety suitable for both fresh market and processing.
Growing Info Sow March or April in a greenhouse. Plant on good fertile land 40 cm all ways, apply a general fertiliser at 75 grams SQ meter. Do not plant on Clubroot infested land.
Hints and Tips F. 1 sprouts generally give you much firmer sprouts. Protect or spray against caterpillars.
